Top Gear - 928s episode

I thought someone else would have posted this first, but I did not see it yet. Tanner drove a 1983 928S manual with a hollow rocket strapped to it (to sleep in).

It was fun, he was throwing that Shark all over the place, doing burn-outs on a drag strip....check it out on History Channel reruns. It was a new episode this week.

Extra fun because that is what I own.. HA

It is too bad they had to strap a fake rocket to the top of a nice example but overall the show was good for the 928. Tanner who is a great driver had nothing but praise for the car.

Yeah I thought it fared well and Tanner obviously liked it. From what I hear, the show actually made the 928 "retire" from the race because it was kicking serious booty and would have been anti-climatic......I prefer to think that anyway.... You notice they never said what happened to it or comment later in the episode. So it may be true.
