Panorama: Have you ever owned any Porsche road cars? Do you have a favorite?

Foyt: Yes, I had a 928 when they first came out in the '70s. That was the only Porsche road car I've ever owned and I would say it is my favorite Porsche road car. I've always had a lot of bigger cars and I drove trucks a lot, too. But back then Porsche didn't make trucks. The 928 had nice performance and good handling. It was a great little car all around.

Panorama: No, we mean a real Porsche road car. With the air cooled engine in the back.

funny right, coming from panorama you would expect some recognition!

So I guess Porsche hasn't made a REAL car in the last almost 2 decades. NICE...way to live in the past.

Thanks for sharing, Stan. I always enjoy it when the 928 receives praise. It seems like it gets as much recognition now as it ever has. Or, at least since the debut of the S4.
