Ok, I think this pretty much rings true for the area I live in....

Get in front of these vehicles as soon as you can, or you are in for a slllloooowww ride.

1- Prius,,,,everyone's favorite hiway policeman
2- Honda CR-V,,,,,any year ! Ha
3- Toyota RAV4,,,,,cringe!
4- a Buick Of ANY kind,,,especially a Riviera though
5- A Smart,,,luckily they aren't selling many of those,,, ha

Special mention, people driving a beater that is lucky to be running, they could care less if you have a nice or cool car,,,, cuz they don't! They are used to taking a while to get anywhere,,,,,,

What say you in your area?

Of course this is a general rule of thumb,,,,, A Cr-V went by at about 75 in a 55 today!,,,,must have read my post,,, lol

Subaru Forester - On the way to a Cars and Coffee event in the summer I got behind this slow bitch on a two lane back road. Even though we were in a no passing zone, I blew past her when we came to clear straight away. She was blowing the horn at me while I was passing her. She eventually caught up to me because I didn't catch the light at the intersection. When she pulled up behind me I saw her taking a picture of my plate, I suppose to call the police on me. I gave her the finger.

I hate do gooders like that.

They're not 'do-gooders' but rather 'self-righteous' individuals intent on imposing their behaviours and attitudes on everyone around them. There's a guy in DC trying to impose his views on our country and citzens right now.

Michael will support me on this...Virginia is all 2-lane, double-line roads, and if you get behind one of these individuals, you could be there for a long time.

Coming from New York City, I pull a little bit of my hair-out every day I'm behind the wheel. Then, of course, there's the seeming 4-cops-per-citizen ratio (village, county, state, sheriff, and National Park police on the Colonial Parkway) and with nothing better to do that get cats out of trees, they resort to strictly imposing the speed limits. And don't forget, radar detectors are illegal in the state.

Of course, if you happen to have a Beltronics STI-Driver detector that is undetectable....you might be inclined to use it. Try not to have a silly grin on your face when you drive-by the offending officer's car.

When I was going to Sharktoberfest a year ago I was on I-10 in far west TX...looked in my mirror (had cruise set at 83) and what to my surprise do I see??? A freakin' Prius is about to pass me... I literally had to take a pic of that! LOL!

The slow ones up here are the company Ford edge safety suv.
There are many Cab mini vans with dark people driving and some of them for the first time in snow.
But in the summer its the little SUV moms or company trucks or coach buses.
everything else is the Joanses trying to pass each other

I sometimes like to take my 928 out on the roads around Fort Lauderdale and fantasize that I am flying a Focke-Wulf 190D, which is probably the equivalent of a Porsche 928.

I've had a problem for years with a neighbor who lives across the canal from me. I'm not going to spend the time to explain it, it is just petty. But I DO know that one of the reasons he dislikes me is because I own a GERMAN Porsche. I got this fact from a neighbor. For some reason he thinks I am a foreigner! I grew up in Michigan, and he is from Long Island. You decide who is more "American". I knew how to change the oil on my dad's car when I was five years old, since he showed me and made me hand him paper towels.

NO, Nick from across the canal will not deal with me. And guess what? Tonight he wanted to take his woman on a tour with his boat [Which I did last night in my own boat], but when he started it up....He put it away. He had the cover of the Bayliner open, and I could see him looking at the engine despite the fact that it was running. Nick's boat developed a coolant leak! I saw his WHORE female walk back toward the house and put her jacket away. I so badly wanted to put my own other on my own boat and parade back and forth in front of this disgusting individual!

I had mine up to 90 on the LIE, but only for a short purpose. Some of us are forced to budget, please don't hate me -- I love putting $20/week in it as opposed to the 40-60 I used to have to do with the Sienna. I must be bi-polar, I love my GTS, then there is the Fisker I saw in Miami last month, pant. There's that budget problem again.

Rick, at least the Fisker didn't burst in to flames in front of your eyes. They sure are beautiful cars...to bad they really don't have the tech quite right in them... I wonder if they will rise from the ashes like the Phoenix?

Rising: Well, if the fact that Porsche, BMW, etc., are putting hybrid techn in flagship cars (918) this is way more than just in the rear view mirror, if you know what I mean. There may be some bugs to iron out, but the Tesla fires were almost all due to "other" causes, like hitting a guard rail and damaging the frame. The torque advantages of the electric motor have been recognized a long time ago, it just wasn't feasible b/c it lacked batt techn. Technology generally follows "need." Everything is a trade-off. I don't enjoy the "small" aspect of it the Prius, but the $10.00/150 or so miles is great, w/ one charge, which means I'm getting 9.3 miles on what it takes to dry a medium load of wash, (my best est.). In metro areas, most trips are 5-6 miles. If I was doing that and charging after each trip, I would be using zero gas. Note: I will have to rent a truck from Home D. to get that carpet home, but I couldn't put it in the shark anyway.

If I could afford a Fisker or Tesla, you would be in my rear-view mirror.

I have not had to add any to the list I originally put up so far this winter,,,, but just in general all the right hand land people drive me nuts. They are actually proposing a law here to make it illegal but you have to be going the speed limit or slower. It already is illegal to drive beside someone..... but people ignore that all the time. If I only had a tractor-beam!!! Where is the Enterprise when you need her?

Did you guys see the Tesla vs. 2014 Vette and Slightly modded Viper videos??? While it does not walk away from them, the Tesla beats them BOTH! 12.08 qtr mile runs are UNREAL!!! At something close to 130! Just unreal!!
