Very Sad Paul Walker Died in a Fiery car crash

Paul Walker -- best known for his role in "The Fast and the Furious" movies -- died Saturday afternoon after a single-car accident and explosion in Southern California ... TMZ has learned.

The accident happened in Santa Clarita -- north of Los Angeles -- and according to multiple sources connected to Paul ... the actor was in a Porsche when the driver somehow lost control and slammed into a post or a tree ... and then the car burst into flames.

I wonder what car it was? I heard that it was a Porsche but I cant make out the emblem on the wheel to confirm.

Very rare red CGT and it had black wheels. They are VERY difficult cars to drive fast. Hell, the chassis was originally designed to be the pinnacle of Porsche endurance racing. It was meant to be raced by only the best race car drivers in the world...not some slow handed rich old farts who are clueless, or even folks who might be good club racers! These cars are always on the razors edge and if you don't bring your A+ game every time you get behind the wheel you are just asking for trouble! So sad!!! Not the first time this has happened and won't be the last either!

I started following it and then stopped when it was clear they were going way fast on public streets. Last I heard in December Porsche was sending investigators to, well, investigate the obvious. That was around 12/19, anything released yet?
