It was pretty slow during the Winter, and I am one of the culprits. But I sense a pickup over the past few weeks. At least it seems that way.
There has been some activity on the FaceBook page setup by Brad and I have seen some of us over there during the winter. Maybe the winter was so harsh (at least on the East Coast) no one was doing anything and thus less posts.... just a guess

I have tried to encourage the new members on the FaceB page to join up here and read the car profile post.
I feel that way it would encourage them to ask questions.

Assuming that we'd like to see more activity here, what would motivate someone to post here rather than somewhere else?
Most posts I see are from OC members wanting to support the site and/or fed up with one of the other 928 sites. Are there other reasons?

On second thought maybe it's good like this. I guess I just keep hoping it will get busier but not a pissing match like some other sites.

You're right, Adam, it is quiet around here...but I'm guilty. Kinda stalled on the project for a bit, but now back at it as I'm now going to attack the sunroof and spray the roof/deck lid.

Just finished a 2 month home remodel. This weekend is SITM, so I will check-in from there and hope that kick-starts me into being a regular visitor again soon! I have posted on FaceBook some and tried to steer a few of those persons to the site. Maybe that will work eventually. Good job Mac!

The activity has definitely dropped off, and pretty significantly at that. We are down about 50% in terms of regularly browsing users. I, for one, have just started to post again after about a 10 month intermission. I've definitely missed being apart of the regular conversation around here.

Working my way back as well.... I like some of the things we are trying to do and work as well as vacations have taken a heavy toll the past 6-8 months....but I can see the light!!!!

FYI - RV is no longer a moderator and hasn't been for several years now.
RL is the oldest and deepest site, and that's tough to beat. You simply can't easily replicate that established knowledge base. The rest struggle to gain traction - Reutterwerk is another example where the 928 Forum is extremely slow. For better or worse, RL is where it's at. Always has been, probably always will be.
