Just picked up a 91 928. The timing belt is aged out and needs to be replaced. I need a good recommendation for a Porsche shop in the Dallas or North Dallas area.

Thanks

If you haven't already found the right mechanic, I highly recommend Sean Ratts.   Check out 928docs.com     His email is:   Sean@928docs.com   He may have a waiting list, as he's building a new facility and it won't be done for a couple of months.  Tell him I recommended him!!

You will also want to get acquainted with Roger Tyson - supplier of parts worldwide - who is located in the Dallas area:   928sRus.com is his business web site.   Lots of 928 owners in that area.

Welcome to the Club of 928 owners.

Thanks for the reply. I have talked with Roger and he recommended Sean (sent him an email, no reply) and Randy in Ft Worth. Called Randy and he did a complete service in a couple of weeks. Very happy with his work, knowledge and customer service. Now if I can just get him to move his shop to North Dallas.
