Man, that would be handy! I might just have to look into something like that myself. Doesn't seem like that bad of a price either. I didn't even know such a thing existed yet. I'm not always in the loop on the latest technologies out there.

That is just the software install on your BB phone.
You still need to buy the auto car starter.
I was thinking of it for my truck but I may hold off as I am trading it in for a new one come spring
ha ha you could start you car in the next state

Cool...works in the winter for you guys and works in the summer for those of us down south here! Of course wiring something like that in to a 928 is a VERY, VERY BAD IDEA! So many folks have done stuff like that and REALLY screwed the cars up that I would REALLY not recommend doing that.

You know James, it probably will not hurt the electronics on the 928 as it is older and tougher.
It is the modern security systems and the On-Star that would sense high resistance and not allow the vehicles to start.
High resistance in our vehicles seems to be normal. ha ha ha
Thats a good idea to install one to keep it cool. Cool Idea

The problem is more that the 928 electrical system is SO COMPLEX and goes in so many different directions and has so many things tied together that hacking in to one thing usually mess up 5 other things. The old style alarm systems are some of the worst...or maybe it was just the installs that were bad, but either way, hacking in to a 928 electrical system is NOT for the faint of heart!
