I am working on having the interior of my 1980 5 speed upgraded. I found someone in my area (Hudson Valley, NY) with the skill and willingness to do the job. When I bought my car the dash was down to bare metal essentially; I had an aftermarket dash-cover installed. The restorer told me I would be best served by finding another dash that even if badly worn would be better than trying to work with my current dash. I checked with Mark at 928 International (who is going out of business), he did not have one but told me any non-airbag dash would fit.
first question, does anyone know what year was the last year for non-airbag 928's?
second question, My original dash was black leather, can anyone give me a lead that might result in me locating a replacement dash?
